Video: Battle Of The Bots, Chapter 1

Some 15,000 high schoolers gathered in Houston this past spring to duel it out at the world championships for student robotics.

Among those battling bots for a top spot at the 2017 FIRST Robotics Competition was the Robonauts, a Houston-based team out of Clear Creek Independent School District. The team had six weeks to design and build a robot before entering the tournament.

We captured the Robonauts’ journey in a two-part series. First up in the video above, meet a few team members… and their robot, Ruckus.
