Houston Matters will offer a special edition today (Tuesday, March 21, 2017), as News 88.7 brings you live coverage of the Senate Judiciary Committee questioning Judge Neil Gorsuch, President Trump’s nominee for the U.S. Supreme Court.

Live coverage from NPR News begins tentatively at 8 a.m. CT on News 88.7 FM and online. When there’s a break in the hearings, Houston Matters host Craig Cohen will be on the air with local political and judicial experts to offer their analysis and to consider how any developments in the hearings might affect Houston and Texas, and to field your reactions.

This will technically be day two of the three-day proceedings before the Senate Judiciary Committee, which began on Monday with some introductory remarks. This, however, is the key day, as Senators question the nominee on a number of issues he might face, if confirmed as the next Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.
