As she keeps exploring Pakistan as a journalist, News 88.7 Education reporter Laura Isensee visits Habib University, a two-year old institution founded with the largest philanthropic educational donation in the country’s history.

It also has a strong Texas connection: One of the global partners is Texas A&M University.

The Habib University has academic and emotional counseling and many other interesting aspects that make it special. But the one that Laura likes most is that it’s a nation building project.

We invite you to listen to the latest dispatch above.

Laura is participating in a fellowship for reporters sponsored by ICFJ— the International Center For Journalists. Think of it as a student exchange for journalists.

You can also follow her journey on Twitter and Facebook.
