Business incubators provide a space and equipment for startups.

Houston has several of those, including the Innovation Center at the University of Houston's Energy Research Park.

They just recently expanded by adding a wet lab, which provides new opportunities for startups in the nanotech, medical or energy fields.

For this week's Bauer Business Focus, News 88.7's Florian Martin spoke with Ken Jones, director of UH's Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship.
