Ongoing development targets potential residents as well as visitors.

Downtown Houston continues to become more of a destination for both visitors and new residents. The new light rail lines are complete and ongoing construction will result in several new hotels and office space.

But there is also some criticism of how the city is trying to boost the number of residential buildings.
