gbu-logo-m-300x300A lot can happen in Houston. Some of it good, some of it bad, some of it downright ugly. When faced with intriguing developments in the news, we turn to our rotating panel of “non-experts” to parse The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of it all.

During the recent 2016 Houston Matters Roadshow (recorded in front of a live audience at the Asia Society Texas Center) we had our panelists take the “long view” – exploring developments in the news and asking them if, a year or more out, it will have borne out to be “good,” “bad’ or “ugly.”

We asked them to consider the proposed $105 million plan to raise the floor of the Astrodome to make room for a new parking lot and Houston Matters receiving first place in a national award ceremony while simultaneously placing third in a Texas statewide competition (D’oh!).
