The expansion of the Panama Canal will lead to more containers coming into the Port of Houston. Under that setting, the Port of Houston Authority is preparing for its first Gulf Shipping Conference next week. The two-day conference begins on Monday at the Magnolia Hotel.

Ricky Kunz is the Authority’s chief commercial officer, and talks about the conference on this week’s Bauer Business Focus.
