Three people are dead after a small plane crashed in the parking lot of an Ace Hardware store near Hobby Airport Thursday in southeast Houston.
The incident was reported at 6800 Telephone Road where Houston Fire Department units arrived to find a small single engine plane down in a parking lot. The plane had struck a parked vehicle.
Drivers are urged to avoid travel in the following perimeter:
- Bellfort to the North
- Broadway to the East
- Airport Blvd to the South
- Mykawa to the West
