How To Understand New Overtime Regulations Issued By Labor Department

The Labor Department says new overtime regulations are set to come into play at the end of the year.

The president recently announced new overtime regulations that will take effect on December 1.

Under the new ruling, the salary threshold of those eligible for overtime will increase.

The Labor Department says it will boost the incomes of 4.2 million workers. But some companies say they can’t afford to pay overtime to all of the newly-eligible employees.
