Downtown Houston's free circulator bus is expanding its hours to weekends. Bob Eury with the Downtown Management District says they're hoping to fit "Greenlink" into Metro's frequent bus network.
"It's not like we're building our own transit system," says Eury. "We really see this as a piece of a puzzle for transit that lets people get out of their cars."
The evening Greenlink buses will serve destinations like the Theatre District, the George R. Brown Convention Center, and Discovery Green.
The service will run until midnight on Thursdays and Fridays, from 9:00 a.m. to midnight on Saturdays, and on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
