City Of Nassau Bay Appoints New Chief

Kenneth Campbell has been selected as the new chief of police for the City of Nassau Bay, according to the city manager.

Campbell is currently the Police Chief for the City of Santa Fe Police Department.

Kenneth Campbell has been selected as the new chief of police for the City of Nassau Bay, according to the city manager.

Chief Joe Cashiola retired March 4 after 34 years with the department.

“Campbell’s background and experience make him a great fit for our city. I am confident that Chief Campbell will be a great addition to Nassau Bay and will continue the police department’s strong tradition of serving and protecting the community,” City Manager Jason Reynolds wrote in an emailed statement.

Campbell is currently the police chief for the City of Santa Fe Police Department. He has been with Santa Fe for over 20 years.

“I am excited and honored to accept the Police Chief position in Nassau Bay. I could not have hoped for a more beautiful community to work in and really look forward to serving the citizens and making new friends. I look forward to working and learning from the officers at Nassau Bay PD to promote a progressive community policing atmosphere. My goal is to continue to develop our staff and service to the community we serve,” Campbell wrote in an emailed statement. “I would be remiss not to acknowledge the outstanding tenure and service from Chief Joey Cashiola and wish him the very best in his retirement.”

Campbell starts in May.
