The Texas primary may be over, but another vote is close behind in Galveston where the mayor and all six city council seats are up for election in May. This happens every two years — does that make it harder for Galveston Island officials to do their jobs?

We preview the upcoming election in Galveston and discuss some of the issues that may be top of mind for voters there, including funding for longstanding and ongoing repairs related to Hurricane Ike in 2008.
