A lot can happen in a year – some of it good, some of it bad, some of it downright ugly. When faced with intriguing developments in the news, we turn each week to our rotating panel of "non-experts" to parse The Good, The Bad and The Ugly of 2015.

This week’s panel of non-experts is comprised of: Aurora Losada, editor of La Voz de Houston; Joe Holley, Native Texan columnist for the Houston Chronicle; and Marcus Davis, owner of The Breakfast Klub restaurant and host of Sunday Morning Live on Majic 102.1.

We've asked each of our panelists to come prepared to discuss one news event this year they found to be good, one development they determined to be bad, and one moment they could only truly characterize as ugly.
