Veterans History Project Gives Vets A Chance To Share Their Stories

The U.S. Congress created the Library of Congress project 15 years ago.

For the last 15 years, veterans across the nation have been recording their wartime memories and sending them to the Library of Congress to archive.

The Veterans History Project is meant as a way to preserve history and to give a voice to those experiencing the nation's wars firsthand.

News 88.7's Florian Martin spoke with the director of the Veterans History Project, Bob Patrick, about the significance of the program.
