Houston Mayoral Election Poll: Turner Leads, Garcia Slips & King Gains Support

The survey was conducted by the Survey Research Center, the University of Houston Center for Public Policy & Rice University.

Which candidates will emerge from the crowded field for Houston Mayor is becoming clearer.

The results of our News 88.7/KHOU 11 News Election Poll show former state Representative Sylvester Turnerin good shape to enter an expected runoff.

But support for another favorite—ex-Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia—has decreased.

While former Kemah Mayor Bill King has a good chance at coming in second.
