Two Men Rescued After Boat Crash In Galveston

Coast Guard officials say one man had a broken arm, the other had a broken leg and both men suffered multiple lacerations.

The Coast Guard rescued two injured men Monday after their boat ran aground on the Galveston North Jetty Monday morning.  

The 20-foot-boat crashed at about 1:30 a.m., ejecting one of the men.

A fisherman who heard the crash notified watchstanders and a Coast Guard helicopter and boat crews responded.

The men were taken to UTMB Galveston for treatment.
