When construction began on the Astrodome on March 27, 1963, a time capsule was laid in the concrete foundation. There’s not much known about what was in the time capsule, and – until recently – where it was buried, except for a few photos of that day. But, in April, crews with ground-penetrating radar went searching for it.

To see what they found, Michael Hagerty met up with the Astros historian, Mike Acosta, at Minute Maid Park.
