Two of the female quintuplets born in Houston a couple of months ago are home. The remaining three should soon join them.

Two months after giving birth to her five daughters, Danielle Busby says she’s been busy with Parker Kate and Hazel Grace, who came home June 5th and 9th. Mom can’t wait for their sisters to be released from the hospital

“We’re so excited to have the rest of them come home and get to cuddle on them and love on them, 24-7,” Danielle says.

The newborns arrived by C-section April 8, at 28-weeks and 2 days. Neonatologist Rose Hernandez credits the quints’ progress to their Mom’s excellent health.

“She was still walking around and doing a bunch of stuff before she delivered, when many Moms with multiples, will start having issues earlier, so Mom was extremely healthy,” Hernandez says.

Adam Busby says he hopes he and his wife will be ready when the rest of their daughters come home:

“What we’ve endured this past week with two, it’s a piece of cake compared to what’s coming,” Adam says. “Ask us this question again next week, it might be a little different.”

Doctors at the Women’s Hospital of Texas say the Busby quints are growing up fast and expect them all to be home in about a week.
