A lot can happen in a week — some of it good, some of it bad, some of it downright ugly. When faced with intriguing developments in the week’s news, we turn to our rotating Friday panel of “non-experts” to parse The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of it all.

On today's panel: Wayne Ashley, author of the Texas Leftist blog; and Russ Capper, founder and host of The BusinessMakers Show and The Energy Makers Show; and Monica Richart, attorney and community education advocate .

They’ll contemplate the 84th regular session of the Texas Legislature ending, an announcement declaring an official end to veteran homelessness in Houston, forums for candidates running for Houston mayor and a cattle drive to move livestock stranded by recent floods.
