Partha Krishnamurthy on the Blue Bell Creameries Recall

The recall covers the Brenham, Texas-based company’s entire product line of ice cream, frozen yogurt, sherbet, and frozen snacks, distributed in 23 states and abroad.

Earlier this week, Blue Bell Creameries of Brenham, Texas announced a voluntary recall of its entire product line. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has linked Blue Bell ice cream and other frozen desserts to ten cases of listeria infection, including three deaths in Kansas. Partha Krishnamurthy teaches about health-related marketing at the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business. He joins Andrew Schneider this week on the Bauer Business Focus.
