Video: Tracking Valentine’s Day As It Grows More Expensive

Local firm has tracked the price of common Valentine’s Day items since 1990.

“The Cost of Loving Index” is produced by Houston Asset Management, a local financial planning firm, and has tracked the price of nine common Valentine’s Day items for 25 years.

The items, which include everything from roses to movie tickets, had a cumulative 3 percent increase in 2015, but one item in the survey is cheaper today than it was in 1990.
