The Federal Reserve has pumped trillions of dollars into the U.S. money supply through the purchase of bonds, in an effort to stimulate economic growth. The Fed has just announced it would end the program, known as “quantitative easing,” at the end of this month. Beverly Barrett is Clinical Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business. She joins Andrew Schneider on the Bauer Business Focus.
