Jac Brennan’s yard provides East End residents with books for free.

Jac Brennan’s front yard has become a hub of activity for the kids and parents in her Eastwood neighborhood.

It houses two small boxes that are about the size and shape of birdhouses, and are part of the “Little Free Library” network. The cases contain books that cover a wide variety of titles and are free for neighbors to share or borrow.
