For Austin-based attorney and blogger Christina Pesoli, she described her own divorce seven years ago like a black hole — the stress and despair of starting her life over continually threatened to suck her back in. It was such a threat she gave that gravitational pull a name – the “divortex” – and wrote a book about what she learned trying to rebuild her life. It’s called “Break Free from the Divortex: Power Through Divorce and Launch Your New Life.”

She sat down with Houston Matters’ Michael Hagerty, who asked her why she decided to write a book and to explain what exactly the divortex is.
