As a child, Barbara Shook had a front row seat for the state’s first petrochemical boom. Her father, an electrical engineer, helped build the power plant for Eastman Chemical’s facility in Longview. Shook has spent much of her career covering oil and natural gas for the Houston bureau of Energy Intelligence Group. She joins Andrew Schneider on the “Bauer Business Focus.”
