It’s been a busy year for Houston-based FlightAware. The aircraft tracking service reported thousands of flight delays and cancelations during the harsh winter months. More recently, it covered the crash of Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 in Ukraine and the still-unsolved disappearance of Malaysian Airlines Flight 370.
