Texas calls EPA pollution database deceiving

Texas consistently has a large percentage of “high priority violations” of air pollution laws. The reason is the concentration of major industrial plants. Yet, compared to other states, Texas does far fewer comprehensive inspections of polluting facilities.That’s according to a database run by the Federal government. Texas officials call it “deceiving” and “misleading.”
