Aisha Rahman is a young journalist from Pakistan visiting Houston as part of an exchange program administered by the U.S. State Department and the International Center for Journalists.

In this report, co-produced with her colleague Muhammad Atique, Aisha explores her culture’s surprising presence in the Bayou City.
