Local bands discuss the importance of playing Houston’s biggest music festival.

Free Press Summer Festival, Houston’s annual music festival, takes place this weekend at Eleanor Tinsley Park.

And while the two day event gives attendees a chance to see headliners like Dwight Yoakam and Jack White, it’s also giving some local bands a chance to shine.
