This spring, you might’ve enjoyed the occasional stroll through Hermann Park and its Japanese Garden. However, the gardenâs many crepe myrtles, azaleas and cherry trees donât stay beautiful on their own. Every year a team of master gardeners from Japan comes to Houston to tend to the garden.
Houston Public Media’s Ernie Manouse paid a visit the gardens with Jed Aplaca of the City of Houstonâs Parks Department, who says the lush attraction is far more than just a garden.
