At some time in our lives, as long as we make connections with other human beings, we have to contend with grief. And the longer we live, the more of it we have to face up to.

There are folks here in Houston who devote their lives to trying to assist the rest of us when a loved one passes away. Two such Houstonians discuss what they do to help those that grieve: Elizabeth Cobb is the on-going groups manager at Bo's Place, a bereavement center which offers grief support services to children and their families. And Gayle Kamen is a licensed Master Social Worker, and the Counseling and Group Coordinator for Distinctive Life Cremations and Funerals.
