Well they’re there. They’re just out of sight — beneath the ground in the tunnel system that connects many of the city’s downtown buildings.

We learn how and why Houston’s downtown tunnels were first developed as we talk with Sandra Lord, owner of Houston Urban Adventures and Discover Houston Tours. She’s been giving tours of the downtown tunnels for more than 20 years.
