In either case, a new documentary series aims to tell the stories of those places one square mile at a time – as microcosms of Texas as a whole.

Houston Matters’ Michael Hagerty has more on One Square Mile: Texas – A Microcosm of Texan Life and Culture.

The documentary series is airing now on Houston PBS: Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. and Sundays at 1:30 p.m.
