Texans Unsure Of Schaub’s Status As They Prepare To Meet Undefeated Kansas City Chiefs

Texans coach Gary Kubiak says quarterback Matt Schaub is being treated for the ankle injury he sustained in Sunday's 38-13 loss to the St Louis Rams.

Kubiak adds they still don’t know if they’ll have to start one of their backups when the Texans meet the undefeated Chiefs in Kansas City next weekend.

“You know, I’ll prepare both Case and T.J. and we’ll go from there at the end of the week. But obviously I think it will be the end of the week before we know anything so I’ll prepare the other two to play.”

The Texans have now lost four straight games, and Kubiak has been criticized for allowing Schaub to continue to start after a string of interceptions and sacks.
