You may well know the name of Houston’s mayor. You may know the name of one of the candidates running against her in next month’s election. But odds are very good you don’t know all nine. Yes – you read that right – there are nine people on the ballot running for mayor. And we learn about all of them on this edition of Houston Matters.

We asked three political scientists to research the nine mayoral candidates. On today’s program, we find out what they’ve learned, and welcome your questions and comments for Rice University Professors Mark Jones and Paul Brace, and Renee Cross from the University of Houston’s Hobby Center for Public Policy.
