How Many Houston-Area People Are Uninsured? Get the Facts for Harris and 12 Other Counties

In our area, using data from the U.S. Census Bureau and estimates of the number of people that will potentially be impacted, the following table includes the estimated number of people in our Region by County:

* Uninsured People between 100% and 400% of the Federal Poverty Level
** Uninsured People above 400% of the Federal Poverty Level
*** Uninsured Adults up to 133% of the Federal Poverty Level however Texas does not plan to implement the Medicaid Expansion and these people will remain uninsured.
NOTE: The totals do not add up due to rounding
