Houston is growing and changing like few places in the nation. But is it growing in a way that the community can support over the long haul? The Shell Center for Sustainability at Rice University is poised to release its 3rd report on Houston Sustainability Performance this week. We learned what this new report has to say about how the city of Houston is growing socially, economically, and environmentally, and we consider its implications for all of us in Greater Houston. Our host Craig Cohen was joined by Lester King, a Sustainability Fellow at the Shell Center for Sustainability, Rice University . David Crossley from Houston Tomorrow, an organization that explores urban issues and growth in Houston and Jeff Taebel, Director, of Community and Environmental Planning at the Houston-Galveston Area Council.
