KUHF Conversations: State Rep. Garnet Coleman (D) on Texas’ Stand Your Ground Law

Garnet Coleman sits down with Morning Edition Host David Pitman to talk about why he thinks the state's "stand your ground" law should be changed. Rep. Coleman sponsored a bill this past session to roll back changes that lawmakers passed in 2007, but the bill never made it out of committee. In this interview, Coleman explains what he thinks it will take for lawmakers to seriously consider limiting stand your ground provisions to protecting one's home.
