If you feel like there are more people around the Bayou City these days â well, trust those feelings. The U.S. Census Bureau says the Houston metro area has seen greater population growth than any other U.S. metro area in the last decadeâ¦and last year, Harris County added more residents than any other U.S. county.
And, well, frankly, that includes Houston Matters host Craig Cohen. As a Houston newbie, Craig thought it might be helpful, on behalf of all the other newly-arrived Houstonians, to learn about their new city, and how so many more of us here impacts our community.
To help on this quest, he sat down with KUHF reporters Gail DeLaughter, Dave Fehling, Carrie Feibel, Laura Isensee, and Andrew Schneider. Each covers an aspect of Houston that new arrivals probably ought to know about.
