KUHF Conversations: UH Prof. Murray on City Charter Amendment 1

As election day approaches, KUHF is taking a closer look at some of the ballot issues voters will decide. Proposition 1 would set up a dedicated, pay-as-you-go fund to improve Houston’s aging streets and drainage system. David Pitman sits down with University of Houston Political Science Professor Dr. Richard Murray to discuss some of the issues surrounding Prop. 1, including the desire by schools and non-profits to be exempt from having to contribute the water bill surcharge to pay for the program.
