KUHF Conversations: New Metro CEO George Greanias

George Greanias began work this week as the interim CEO and President of Houston’s Metropolitan Transit Authority. He recently sat down with KUHF’s David Pitman to talk about his top priorities, the status of federal funding for the light rail system, and how to improve bus service. Greanias also gets into whether fare hikes could be part of the immediate future, and what he hopes to accomplish as he seeks to make the “interim” CEO title a “permanent” one.
