Green and Khan in Controller Run-off

The race for city controller is another contest that will require a runoff. For most of the night it was Ron Green and Pam Holm in the lead. But by the end of the night, MJ Khan snuck his way into second place. Bill Stamps has more.

This is Khan.

“We had faith in Houstonians. That Houstonians are going to vote for qualifications, especially for controller.”

Ronald GreenGreen says he campaigned hard but figured all along there would probably be a runoff.

“We take one night one night of rest and then we hit the ground running tomorrow. It’s a different race; it’s a two person race and so we go forward.”

Green says he’ll continue to run on his qualifications and let his record speak for itself.
