What is the best way to protect the nation against cyber-terrorism?

Chris Bronk is a fellow at the Baker Institute. He came to our studios to talk with David Pitman about what an effective anti-cyber-terrorism strategy should look like.

What is the best way to protect the nation against cyber-terrorism? That’s the focus of a conference this afternoon at the Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University. There’s a debate over who should take the lead in securing cyberspace — the federal government or the companies that actually build and maintain what we  call “The Internet.” 

When discussing what an effective anti-cyber-terrorism strategy should look like, Bronk says a partnership between the federal government, private industry, and people who use the Internet is the way to go — as long as each player has a clearly defined role.
