Shortly after 10PM on November 30th 28-year-old Chou Ung left her families restaurant and was heading home when she stopped for gas. Senior Houston Police officer Keith Lovelace picks up the story.

“As she’s doing this she’s approached by a black male described to be between 18 and 21 years of age, approximately 5-foot 6, 5-foot 7, wearing a dark hoodie and black pants.  Some type of verbal argument erupts at which time one shot is fired striking her fatally.  He rummaged through the vehicle and then fled on foot.”

Lovelace says there were two witnesses.

“One of them was across the street, the other one was actually in the gas station, however his line of sight was hindered by the top of his vehicle and the gas pump between the two of them.”

Crime Stoppers says private sources have helped boost the reward to 11-thousand dollars. Anyone with any information can make an anonymous tip by calling 713-222-TIPS or on a cell phone it’s a free call at *tips.
