Gasoline supplies are getting back to normal after running dry during the Hurricane Rita evacuation.

Rice University researchers say the normal gasoline consumption for Houston and the surrounding area for this time a year is about 22 million gallons per day. Baker Institute energy fellow Kenneth Medlock says Rita doubled that number.
