Authorities have identified a 56-year-old man as the victim of a shooting at a Houston auto detail shop that also left several people injured.

The Harris County medical examiner’s office said Monday that Eugene Linscomb was killed in the shooting a day earlier.

Police have said the victim who was fatally shot was known to be a customer at the shop and had arrived shortly before a man entered and started shooting. The gunman, whom authorities have not identified, was killed by a SWAT officer after about an hour.

Police said Sunday they had no indication yet of a motive, and they did not provide an update on the case Monday.
