Harris County Judge Ed Emmett is set to deliver the annual State of the County address Tuesday.

Joe Stinebaker is with the judge's office. He says Emmett will touch on highlights of 2015, including the approval of a major transportation bond, but he says the judge will also focus on goals for the coming year.

"He is going to point out that there are some continuing challenges," Stinebaker says. "Among those are transportation, healthcare and the astrodome."

Emmett will be introduced by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner. The event takes place Tuesday afternoon at NRG Center.
