School is out for the summer for most of Greater Houston, and many kids will attend summer day camps in the coming weeks and months. That's nothing new. But the number and variety of day camps available in the area has grown greatly just in the past decade, according to Sarah Gish. Since 2003, she's curated a printed – and now online – guide to Houston-area day camps called The Summer Book.
She tells Michael Hagerty about the changes she's seen in day camps over the years and what parents can do to make sure their child gets the most out of their experience.
