What happens when a husband and wife give up their separate careers and become teachers in the same school district? One Houston couple did just that.

In the latest installment of the series “Inside the Classroom,” Houston’ Public Media’s education reporter, Laura Isensee, brings us the story of Ryan and Christina Beeler.

Ryan gave up his job as a police officer and Christina gave up tutoring and pursuing her singing career so that both could come to Houston and teach in the Spring Branch Independent School District through Teach for America. They talk about making that leap and what it's meant for their relationship.
