Every year the Harris County Department of Childhood Education hosts an event for early childhood educators in Houston. The idea is to provide a learning environment for teachers to come together to share teaching strategies and best practices and to socialize.

This year, the conference will be held Saturday, Jan. 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Builders’ Center, 6011 W. Orem in Houston.

To tell us more about it, we hear from Dr. Linda Pitre, the Assistant Superintendent of Harris County Department of Education.
